Use Crackers For an Amusing Twist For Your Wedding Favors

Social events are events that require preparation and participation not just from the hosts or celebrant, but of course, from the all the guests. Weddings are made more special with friends and family members. That’s why it is a tradition in weddings that the couple gives wedding favors as a token of appreciation, and as a way for the guests to remember the happenings during the event.

There are many types of favors, and there are different packaging choices as well such as boxes, foil wraps, or small organza bags. If you have attended way too many weddings already, and want some sort of novelty in your own wedding, why not consider using crackers for your wedding favors?

Crackers are puzzle boxes that take some time and thought to open up. Normally used during Christmas, crackers are a fun way to pack favors. Guests will try to open them with the help of each other so you can be sure that people will be talking and there will be no awkward moments during the reception. Unlike other favors which are just there to be looked at, crackers will ensure that people will interact with each other. So whether you have a small group or huge number of guests, you can expect that wedding crackers will do their share to break the ice.

It is also a refreshing and amusing treat for them as this is truly different from the usual favors that they receive. It can even bring a feeling of Christmas warmth and glee as everyone guesses what favors are inside. Plus they are a great conversation piece for your guests as well as something that will entertain both kids and adults.

Considering the size of crackers, you should decide on the wedding favor first so the crackers will not be put to waste if your favor turns out to be a lot bigger than the cracker. You can also opt for small items like jelly beans or seed packets that can fit easily inside any packaging or box.

On the sides of the cracker, you can put your wedding details. A personalized label is often a good option, but you can also use printed ribbon or tags as well. But still for novelty, you can put love quotes to truly help set the mood of the guests. There are bridal favor stores online that can customize crackers for you. You can also try visiting your local wedding shops for crackers that may already be ordered.

Whether you choose classic packaging or a novelty packaging, what is important is that you see your guests have fun in all aspects of the wedding. As they have made your wedding equally special and fun, try to think of other ways where your guests can have a great time as well.

Remember that your wedding is only as fun as your guests are so while this is a special moment for the two of you, give thanks to your guests in a way that will truly feel interesting and memorable.
