If you are getting ready to plan your wedding you likely have a lot on your mind right now. What kind of cake you want to have, the dinnerware that you are going to use, how many people are on your guest list, who your wedding party will consist of, what your budget is, and what type of dress you want are some of the important decisions that you will have to make but another important decision that you must make is where your wedding will take place. Where you choose will depend on a number of factors one of which will be how much money you have to spend on the venue. Another factor that will figure in is the distance the place will be from you and your guests. In some cases religion plays a role in choosing the place where your ceremony will be and finally the season and whether you want the wedding indoors or outdoors. Or you may be one of those brides that know exactly where you want to get married, no questions asked. Someplace you have been dreaming of your whole life. But if your not and your having trouble making that important decision concerning your special day here are a few ideas for unusual places to have your wedding ceremony.Dare to be unusual and choose somewhere to have your wedding that everybody will remember for years to come.Your special day will be even more special if you pick a special place to have your ceremony.

– The Forest – If you are a nature lover what better place to get married than in the middle of the forest. In order to have a forest wedding you most likely want to keep it somewhat small considering everyone will half to trek through the woods. This is great for very personal weddings. Another option though is to talk to your local nature center to see if they allow weddings because the terrain would probably be much easier to handle. Whatever you choose a forest wedding could be the perfect unusual wedding spot for you.

– Historical Landmarks – Another great unusual place to have a wedding is a historical landmark. This is especially great for those that are history buffs. Your friends and family will love being able to visit a piece of history, learn a little something, and enjoy your special day with you all at the same time. You should do some research and see what historical landmarks in your area allow weddings to be held and make your day even more special by sharing it with history.

A Castle – If you are one of those lucky individuals who lives near a castle what better place could there be to get married. Castle weddings are beautiful and definitely unusual. Whether you prefer a Gothic style wedding or a fairytale wedding you can make it happen inside the intriguing confines of a castle.
